(MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo.) — The City of Manitou Springs reported that crews are responding to a water service disruption at Michigan Avenue and Iron Road as of 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20.
According to the City, the Water and Sewer Division is assessing the situation to determine the extent of the damage. Repairs are estimated to take around two to three hours, and people in the area are asked to use caution when traveling near crews and equipment as they work in or near the roadway.
During repairs, locals may experience intermittent water service disruptions, including low pressure, discoloration, or temporary outages. Those experiencing discoloration as service is restored are advised to run cold water from the bathtub or lowest faucet in the home for five minutes or until the water runs clear.
