(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) officers responded to reports of a carjacking on Sunday morning, Aug. 24, which led to a brief chase on I-25.
According to CSPD, the carjacking was reported in the 1200 block of East Pikes Peak Avenue, near South Hancock Avenue, around 9:15 a.m. Initial reports suggested that someone had possibly been kidnapped in the process of the carjacking.
