(PUEBLO, Colo.) — On Thursday, Sept. 25, Puebloans can visit the Chipotle Mexican Grill on Elizabeth Street to help raise funds for the City’s beloved zoo.
The Pueblo Zoo posted about the fundraiser on Facebook, along with an adorable video of the zoo’s Pallas’ Cat, Tai Chi, with his head amusingly stuck in a chipotle bag.

In August, the Pueblo Zoo presented its budget at a City Council work session, where the zoo said if funding continues to decrease, the future of the zoo will be in jeopardy. The zoo encouraged loyal patrons to help by attending the zoo, its special events, and by donating.
To help the fundraising efforts, on Sept. 25, from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m., anyone who visits the Chipotle at 3230 N. Elizabeth St. can mention that they are there for the fundraiser, and 25% of event sales will be donated to the zoo. Those who order online can use the code 736B4HT.
