(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Pikes Peak detachment of the Marine Corps League faces an urgent need for a warehouse as it prepares for 2025’s Toys for Tots distribution.
Organizers said every year they need warehouse space to hold donated toys for the Colorado Springs area. For the past several years, Toys for Tots has been able to operate out of the same spot, but the location is no longer available, and time is running out to find a new one.
“Marine Corps has been doing this since 1947, and so for us to be able to give something to the community as veterans, Marine veterans here locally, it’s a great thing for children,” said Russ Miller, Coordinator, Toys for Tots Colorado Springs. “If we can’t find a space, then, you know, we really can’t operate the program.”
If you have a usable space available, Miller says you can reach out to him directly or through the Toys for Tots Colorado Springs website, where you can find Miller’s contact information.
