(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A local nonprofit organization is bringing joy and much-needed support to several children recovering in the hospital on Saturday, July 26.
“Riders 4 Children” is a group dedicated to supporting families with critically ill children during times of unexpected medical crisis.
On Saturday morning, the group hit the road and drove past Children’s Hospital Colorado in Colorado Springs, as they waved to young patients watching from their windows.
The group then headed to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Colorado to support staff, volunteers, and families. The ride began back in 2021, and since then, Riders 4 Children has raised more than $85,000 for Ronald McDonald House.
