(SOUTHERN COLORADO) — Fall is here, and many farms around Southern Colorado are offering fun fall festivals, pumpkin patches, and corn mazes for the community to celebrate the season. Check out the list below to plan your perfect autumn adventure.
Pumpkin Patch Farms
Venetucci Farms — Featuring the pumpkin patch, a concession stand, a spooky trail, a beer garden, food trucks, and more, Venetucci Farms is open in October, Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Venetucci Farms is located at 5210 South Highway 85 just south of Colorado Springs.
Diana’s Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze — Located in Cañon City, this farm is family-owned and operated and offers activities such as a corn bin, hay slide, duck races, horsey bouncers, and a hay ride. Guests can get fall treats at the grill and snack barn, and can fill their wagon with pumpkins of all sizes and shapes in the pumpkin patch. The pumpkin patch is open in October on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The farm is located at 1649 Poplar Avenue. Fall Mountain Farm — Fall Mountain Farm in Monument holds its Autumn Festival every year, featuring a pumpkin patch, petting zoo, hayrides, mazes, a play park, and other fall fun. Guests can eat at concessions and food trucks. Located at 16300 Mount Herman Lane in Monument, the festival is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursdays and Sundays. The last entry time is 45 minutes before closing. Some days are reserved for private events, so check the website to view the calendar and schedule your trip.
Wishing Star Farm — Located at 24024 State Highway 94 in Ellicott, Wishing Star Farm offers several activities for the family to enjoy, such as a pumpkin patch, a petting zoo, hay rides, a barrel train ride, a corn bin, plenty of games, and more. Open on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., special events are also hosted on Fridays, so check the website for more information.
Long Neck Pumpkin Farm — Long Neck Pumpkin Farm offers a wide variety of family-friendly activities and games, such as hayrides, a hay slide, duck races, farm animals, tractor swings, and more. Guests can also visit the on-site farmer’s market. The farm is located at 7595 California Drive in northwest Colorado Springs. Tickets are limited, so visit the website to reserve your day. The pumpkin patch is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. There is no admission after 4 p.m.
Colorado Kids Ranch — Colorado Kids Ranch is open from Sept. 17 to Nov. 1, featuring a variety of activities from outdoor large Jenga, hay bale pyramid, large tube swings, tractor “hayrides” through its “Colorado Wildlife Safari”, and more. Miners Pumpkin Patch — Miners’ Pumpkin Patch takes place every Saturday in October from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and features hayrides, pumpkin picking, games for all ages, food trucks, animal encounters, a magician, and more. Corn Mazes
Diana’s Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze — In 2025, Diana’s Corn Maze features the chance to catch several Pokémon in the maze for those who love to play Pokémon GO on their phones. For those who simply want to enjoy the maze, there are plenty of twists and turns leading to the pumpkin patch. Diana’s Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze is located at 1649 Poplar Avenue in Cañon City.
Colon Orchards — Colon Orchards Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze opens at the end of September. Colon Orchards is located at 3175 Grandview Avenue in Cañon City.
