(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is telling the community not to be alarmed if they see military or law enforcement activity near Memorial Park, as military training is taking place.
According to CSPD, the U.S. military will be conducting training exercises near Memorial Park and the old St. Francis Hospital near Pikes Peak Avenue and South Institute Street from June 3 – June 6.
CSPD said this is a planned training exercise “conducted in coordination with local authorities to ensure safety and minimal disruption to the community.”
