(COLORADO SPRINGS) — If you’re a fan of country music and looking for something to do tonight (Sept. 27), you’re in luck–Dillon Carmichael is bringing his Southern sound and high-energy performance to Whiskey Rose in Colorado Springs.
Ahead of the show, FOX21’s Krista Witiak caught up with Dillon from the road–literally–while he traveled on his tour bus. “We’re always rolling, always on the road,” he said with a smile. “But I couldn’t be more excited to play for fans in Colorado Springs. The people here are always so warm and welcoming.”
Carmichael is currently wrapping up a busy year on tour, having played nearly 80 full-band shows and opened for big-name acts like Travis Tritt and Randy Houser. He says 2025 has been “humbling” and “a blessing” for his music career.

The country artist recently released a new album titled “Keeping Country Alive,” a project he describes as a tribute to his Kentucky roots. “I’m from a small farm town, and I wanted to make an album that really reflects that lifestyle,” he said. “If you like real country music, this one’s for you.”
One of the standout tracks from the album is his latest radio single, “She’s Gone,” a tongue-in-cheek breakup song inspired by the classic baseball call: “Going, going, gone.”
Dillon Carmichael performs tonight at 8:00 p.m. at Whiskey Rose, located at 5781 N. Academy Blvd. in Colorado Springs.
Tickets are available online at dilloncarmichael.com. The event is 18 and over.
