(FOUNTAIN, Colo.) — A man has been arrested after he allegedly attempted to meet up with a 13-year-old girl at a home in Fountain.
According to the Fountain Police Department (FPD), on Friday, Aug. 22, detectives arrested 44-year-old Michael Reeves after an investigation into sexual exploitation and internet luring of a child. FPD alleged that Reeves had planned to meet a 13-year-old girl at a home in the City of Fountain.
FPD said detectives also learned that Reeves was already a convicted sex offender who was convicted of sexual exploitation of a child in 2023.
Reeves has been booked into the El Paso County Jail on sexual exploitation and internet luring of a child charges. He is being held without bond.
