(COLORADO SPRINGS) — For the second year in a row, Bowl in the City food truck took first place in the third annual 719 Battle of the Food Trucks in Downtown Colorado Springs on Sunday, June 1.
Local foodies descended on the Meanwhile block of Downtown on Sunday to taste test cheesesteaks, grilled cheese, tacos, bratwurst nuggets, and plenty more. Bowl in the City defended its 2024 title and took home first place on Sunday, followed by Prime Kitchen in second place and The WildCard It’s All Good food truck in third. The people’s choice food truck winner was La Tapatia Tacos.
“These trucks are more than just meals on wheels — they’re small businesses with big dreams,” said Battle of the Food Trucks organizers on Facebook. “Keep showing up and keep showing love, 719!”
Organizers remind the community that if you loved any of the food trucks’ offerings, you can support them by booking them for events, following their social media pages, and by leaving reviews to let others know their food is worth a try.
