(CANON CITY, Colo.) — Classic hot rods and cool cars rolled through Cañon City on Saturday, June 7, for the annual Flashback on Main Festival, a lively street dance and block party featuring a car show, live music, and more.
The event supported local causes such as the Fremont Community Foundation, which works to improve the quality of life in Fremont County.
Among the standout vehicles was a 1955 Ford Ranch Wagon with a 2018 Mustang engine. Its proud owner, Kevin Zerby of Cañon City, called it his pride and joy.
“This one actually came up for sale in Colorado Springs,” said Zerby. “I found it in the Springs and bought it. I told my wife I wasn’t going to buy a car that needed work, but I redid everything on it, anyhow, that’s just how it goes.”
Flashback on Main also geared up the community for the 43rd Annual Car Show, hosted by the Cañon Car Club, coming up on Saturday, June 14.
