(COLORADO SPRINGS) — On Wednesday, Sept. 24, survivors and family members of Virginia Giuffre, whose story was featured in the “60 Minutes” documentary on Jeffrey Epstein, gathered to call on Congressman Jeff Crank to sign the petition for the full release of the Epstein files.
On Wednesday, the group gathered at Congressman Crank’s office in Colorado Springs. Family and friends of Giuffre shared their stories and demanded the release of the Epstein files.
“Your time is up, will you side with pedophiles or will you stand with the constituents of El Paso County. Most importantly, will you stand with survivors? It’s that simple,” said Sky Roberts, Giuffre’s brother.
Congressman Jeff Crank responded to requests with the following statement:
“I have supported transparency and accountability regarding the business dealings, investigation, and prosecution of Jeffrey Epstein. The American people deserve transparency into Epstein’s dealings, and I support the release of all documents that shed light on what occurred, while protecting the identity of the victims. I have endorsed the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into this matter, which has released thousands of additional documents, holds subpoena power, acquires bank records, and more.”
