(PUEBLO, Colo.) — On Saturday, July 19, the Pueblo Police Department (PPD) alerted the community that people have been receiving scam text messages indicating a UPS delivery has been missed and needs to be rescheduled.
According to PPD, the messages indicate that UPS tried to deliver a package on a given date and couldn’t get a required signature, offering a link to reschedule the delivery.
PPD advises the community to stay alert and not click on any links, but to report them to their carriers and delete them.
