(VICTOR, Colo.) — The Victor Gold Rush Days are bringing burro racing, a chuckwagon lunch, live music, and more on Friday, July 18, through Sunday, July 20, in Victor, Colorado.
The yearly celebrations that evolved into the Gold Rush Days began in 1895, soon after the town of Victor was founded. The event, held on the third week of July, commemorates the city’s mining heritage and vibrant community spirit.
The three days are packed full of events, including activities such as gold panning, miniature golf, blacksmithing and carving demonstrations, mining games, vintage baseball games, old-fashioned kids’ games, the burro race, a parade, and live music in the plaza.
Food and drink events include a beer garden, chuckwagon lunches, and pancake breakfasts provided by the Victor Volunteer Fire Department. For a full schedule of events, click the link above.
