(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The City of Colorado Springs said Phil Long Dealerships donated $10,000 to support the City’s Keep It Clean COS campaign.
The Keep It Clean COS campaign is a citywide effort to remove trash from public spaces, driven by City departments, community partners, and residents working together through collaboration, action, and education to keep Colorado Springs clean and vibrant.
“We are deeply grateful to Phil Long Dealerships for stepping up again with this incredible contribution,” said Mayor of Colorado Springs Yemi Mobolade. “This donation is not only a wonderful investment in the Keep it Clean COS campaign to help keep our City beautiful, it’s a statement of shared responsibility and pride in our community. It takes a village to make Colorado Springs a cleaner, more connected, and more vibrant place to live, and these partnerships are proof that our collective efforts can build something truly extraordinary.”
The donation is part of Phil Long Dealerships’ “Thanks, Jay,” give-back campaign, held in honor of the former President and CEO Jay Cimino, who passed away in February 2024.
“Jay dedicated his life to connecting others to the resources they need to be their best. We are proud to carry on that legacy,” said Phil Long Dealerships’ President and CEO Kevin Shaughnessy. “Thank you to all our customers. Your continued trust in us allows us to make such a strong, positive impact in Colorado Springs, a community we have been a part of since our doors first opened in 1945.”
