(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Pueblo Police Department (PPD) said officers have arrested a suspect in connection with the death of a woman on Sunday, June 29.
According to PPD, on Wednesday, July 2, police arrested 49-year-old Moses Wagner in connection with the death of 39-year-old Victoria Brandon Delira-Alires.
Delira-Alires was found on Sunday, just before noon, when police were called to the 2400 block of Pine Street near Lake Minnequa on a report of an injured woman. When police arrived, they found Delira-Alires with a possible gunshot wound, who was pronounced dead on the scene.

On Wednesday, Wagner was taken into custody by the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office following a traffic stop conducted for a fictitious license plate and illegal window tint at around 6:30 p.m. in the 1600 block of Santa Fe Drive in the Salt Creek area.
During the investigation, law enforcement gathered sufficient evidence to get an arrest warrant for Wagner in the death of Delira-Alires. Wagner was booked into the Pueblo County Detention Center.
